Belfast City and easyJet Celebrate Partnership Milestone

Belfast City Airport and easyJet are celebrating five years since the airline’s first flight from the heart of Belfast. Since taking to the skies in July 2021 with flights to London Gatwick, easyJet has carried over 2.5 million passengers to an established network of nine destinations, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Manchester. A new route to London Southend will also take off in October 2026, with the partnership continuing to deliver greater choice, convenience and connectivity for passengers travelling to and from Belfast.

Commenting on reaching this significant milestone, the Chief Commercial Officer at Belfast City Airport, Katy Best, said, “As we celebrate five years of partnership with easyJet, we recognise the important role this collaboration has played in enhancing connectivity for our passengers and supporting the region’s economy. easyJet’s continued investment in Belfast City Airport is not only a testament to the success of our partnership, but also the strength of our fast, efficient service and excellent location, just five minutes from Belfast city centre. Looking ahead, we are excited to build on this relationship by strengthening links, expanding our offering and delivering even greater opportunities to meet the needs of our passengers.”

Also commenting was easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Kevon Doyle, who added, “We’re delighted to reach five years of operations at Belfast City Airport, a period in which we’ve grown our presence and expanded choice for customers across Northern Ireland. We remain committed to offering customers in Northern Ireland great value fares and convenient connections, and with fares from £19.99* this summer, there has never been a better time to book with easyJet. We look forward to welcoming even more customers on board in the years ahead.”
