Dublin to Host Aircraft Leasing Ireland Summit 2026 this November

Dublin will once again take centre stage in the global aviation finance calendar when the Aircraft Leasing Ireland (ALI) Summit 2026 takes place on 10th November 2026 at the InterContinental Hotel. Organised by Aircraft Leasing Ireland, the representative body for the sector, the event will bring together senior figures from across leasing, aviation, finance and government for a focused half-day conference examining the future of the industry.

Ireland’s position at the heart of global aircraft leasing is unmatched. Irish-based firms manage aircraft assets valued at over $315 billion (€274 billion), accounting for approximately 69% of the global leased fleet by value. This concentration of expertise, capital and industry leadership has made Dublin the de facto global centre for aircraft leasing. The ALI Summit plays an important role in maintaining that leadership by providing a forum for discussion, collaboration and forward planning.

The 2026 event will feature An Taoiseach Micheál Martin T.D. as keynote speaker, reflecting the national strategic importance of the aviation leasing industry. While the full speaker line-up is expected to include senior industry executives, policymakers and subject matter experts, the summit’s primary focus is on high-level strategic issues rather than individual company announcements.

The ALI Summit 2026 will centre on several themes that reflect the major forces shaping the aviation sector:

  • A Future-Ready Industry

Participants will explore how leasing companies and financiers can prepare for long-term change, including market volatility, fleet renewal cycles and evolving airline demand.

  • Global Leadership and Competitiveness

With increasing competition from other jurisdictions, maintaining Ireland’s position as the leading aircraft leasing hub remains a priority. Discussions will examine regulatory frameworks, taxation policy and the broader business environment.

  • Sustainability

Decarbonisation is now firmly embedded in aviation strategy. The summit will examine how leasing companies can support the transition to net-zero through sustainable finance and ESG-aligned leasing structures.

  • Innovation

Technology continues to reshape aviation finance and operations. From data-driven asset management to digital transaction processes, innovation will be a key discussion point.

As with previous editions, the summit is expected to attract a broad cross-section of the aviation ecosystem, including:

  • Aircraft lessors and financiers
  • Airline representatives
  • Legal and advisory firms
  • Policymakers and regulators
  • Technology and sustainability specialists

The event provides a valuable opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange, with attendees gaining insights into both immediate market conditions and longer-term industry trends.

The continued hosting of the ALI Summit in Dublin underlines Ireland’s central role in shaping the future of global aviation finance. With the industry facing challenges ranging from supply chain pressures to environmental targets, events like this are essential in aligning stakeholders and identifying solutions. More broadly, the summit reinforces Dublin’s position as a global aviation hub, complementing other major industry gatherings held in the city each year.
