Blue Islands to Start Dublin Route in March

Jersey based Blue Islands have announced the start date for their new Southampton to Dublin service. Having previously planned to start the route in 2020, the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic caused the airline to postpone a number of planned start dates on the route. Blue Islands are now planning on starting the new daily service on Monday 29th March. The service will depart from Southampton at 10.15 with an 11.50 arrival into Dublin. There will be a 40 minute turnaround and planned departure of 12.30 with arrival back in Southampton at 14.05. Flight timings at the weekends will differ slightly. This will allow for connections for the Blue Islands flights to the Channel Islands.

Blue Islands offer competitive fares and provide 23kg hold luggage included as standard, plus the option for frequent flyer points and ticket flexibility on increased fares. Bookings are now available on www.blueislands.com Blue Islands fly to seven regional airports in the UK as well as the Channel Islands and have codeshare agreements with Loganair for services to Newcastle and four airports in Scotland. Blue Islands operate a fleet of four ATR 72-500 and one ATR 42 aircraft with up to 70 seats in a 2+2 configuration.
