Delta Airlines Announce Revised Summer Schedule

Delta Airlines have announced their revised schedule for summer 2020 on their Irish routes. They plan to restart the both the Boston – Dublin and New York JFK – Dublin routes on the 1st August 2020 using Airbus A330-300 aircraft on these routes. Both services will be a daily service for the remainder of the summer schedules. The Boston service will switch to a Boeing 767-300 aircraft from 16th September.

The service from Boston will depart at 22.55 and arrive into Dublin at 09.55 the following morning. The return service will depart form Dublin at 12.40 and arrive into Boston at 14.40. The New York to Dublin flight will depart from JFK at 21.50 and arrive into Dublin at 09.30 on the following day, with the return flight departing at 11.30 and arriving into JFK at 13.55. The previously regular Atlanta – Dublin service which Delta inaugurated back in 1988 will not come back into operation for the 2020 summer season due to the downturn following the COVID-19 outbreak. For passengers with reservations on this route, they will be accommodated on other services with connections made available in the US. Shannon Airport will loose out on their Delta Airlines flight as the New York JFK – Shannon summer only service will not be returning for the 2020 season.
