Global Flight Training Solutions to Deploy APC Amelia AI for Pilot Training

Global Flight Training Solutions (GFTS) and The Airline Pilot Club (APC) announced that GFTS will deploy APC’s Amelia AI-enabled platform across its airline-partner training programs at flight school campuses in Europe and the United States.

GFTS will integrate APC’s Personalised Evidence-Based Training (PEBT) software – powered by Amelia – into its flight training curricula to provide continuous insights to instructors and trainees on observable behaviours and tailor individualised training paths. APC’s PEBT module streamlines the “observe – record – classify – assess (ORCA)” workflow, aligned to industry-recognised competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) frameworks. Amelia AI analysis helps instructors capture richer training data and deliver clearer, more consistent feedback without adding administrative burden.

“We’re here to build confident, competent, and ambitious pilots ready to progress to the left seat as airline captains,” said Victor Costello, Founder of GFTS. “APC’s PEBT is the data thread that keeps pilot training coherent and focused from Day One. With Amelia AI, instructors and families gain transparent visibility into a trainee’s progress against regulated competency standards.”

“This reflects a shared commitment to data-driven training quality,” said Andy O’Shea, Chairman at APC. “Amelia helps training organisations make better, faster decisions that benefit families, instructors, student pilots and the airline partners who hire them to fly.”

GFTS partners with airlines to prepare cadets for operational readiness, delivering pilot training programs with a focus on quality and safety, including an innovative approach that simulates real-world airline operations. For more information, visit https://globalflighttrainingsolutions.com
