The Convention Centre Dublin was buzzing with energy yesterday as over 1,000 aspiring aviators and industry professionals gathered for Pilot Careers Live 2025, marking one of the busiest editions of the event to date.
Organised by Seager Publishing, the event brought together a wide array of exhibitors, including leading flight schools, airline recruiters, and aviation universities from across Europe. All of the big Irish ATOs were in attendance, including National Flight Centre, Atlantic Flight Training Academy, ASG, Airline Flight Academy and Simtech. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with professionals from Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Loganair, the Irish Air Corps, and many more, gaining valuable insights into training pathways, career prospects, and recruitment processes.
A packed seminar programme ran throughout the day, featuring keynote presentations from airline training managers, recent graduates, and military pilots. Topics ranged from the costs and structure of pilot training to the realities of life in the cockpit and alternative aviation careers beyond commercial airlines.
The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation underscored the growing interest in aviation careers in Ireland and beyond. With the industry showing signs of robust recovery and expansion, events like Pilot Careers Live continue to play a vital role in guiding the next generation of pilots.
