Airline Flight Academy Launches Dual EASA & UK APS MCC Courses

Airline Flight Academy (AFA), based at Santry in Dublin, has announced that they are launching a new option to their MCC course from Winter 2025 that will give UK licence holders the opportunity to complete a fully approved Dual APS MCC. AFA have said that this will give the pilots the opportunity of  “unlocking career options across both EU & UK airlines – including our partner airline Ryanair.”

The announcement was made at Pilot Careers Live in Manchester last weekend.  With UK airlines actively hiring and seeking pilots with dual licence flexibility, this is a timely boost to future pilots’ prospects, choice, flexibility and career security.

AFA went on to say: “We are now finalising course details so watch out for more updates over the next few weeks.”

“This is perfect for those finishing their ATPLs or entering the CPL/MEIR stage, this course is designed to align your training with real airline requirements, giving you options and choice.”

In addition to offering MCC courses from their simulator centre in Santry, AFA also offers outsourced sim & flying services to European Airlines using their fleet of 4 x CAE 7000XR simulators (3 x B737 and 1 x A320) and two fixed base FTD2s based on the Boeing 737 MAX.
