The board of directors of CBD Aviation has announced that in line with the Company’s strategies and to optimize the fleet structure and increase the proportion of next-generation aircraft with advanced technologies, high fuel efficiency, and wide market penetration, on the 11th of September, the Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary CDB Aviation Lease Finance DAC entered into an aircraft purchase agreement with Airbus S.A.S. for the purchase of eighty Airbus A320 NEO family aircraft. The Airbus aircraft are planned for delivery between 2030 and 2032.
Following on from this announcement last week, the company has now announced a further order for fifty Boeing 737-MAX8 aircraft. The Boeing aircraft are currently planned for delivery between 2028 and 2031.
