On the 21st of September, I attended the Girls In Aviation Day at the Shannon Aviation Museum. The day was filled with loads of information on the different jobs within aviation. There were lots of women from the aviation industry on the day telling us about their jobs in aviation. There were Pilots, Engineers, Cabin Crew, ATC workers, Air Corps members, and Drone Operators. It was a well organised day where we got a great insight into the opportunities for females to work in aviation.
We got a chance to look around the museum which is very impressive and certainly worth a visit for any aviation enthusiasts. Please see the link to the museum at https://shannonaviationmuseum.com/ .
As a 15-year-old girl who very much dreams of having a career in aviation, I came away from the day feeling very inspired.
