Delta Returns To Dublin with Atlanta Service
Delta Airlines returned to Dublin today with a direct service from Atlanta joining the daily services already operating to Boston and New York JFK. The service departs daily from Atlanta at 21.00, arrives in Dublin at 10.00 am the following morning with a 12.00 midday departure to Atlanta, arriving at 15.45. With the addition of the third daily service on the Delta network, the airline now offers 779 daily seats each way on the Atlantic, this will include 60 in Delta Premium Select and 93 seats in Delta One.
The new Atlanta – Dublin flight is operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft. However, the airline will switch to the newer Airbus A350-900 from 2nd August on this route. All of the airline’s Ireland flights operate in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic. From its hubs in Atlanta, Boston and New York-JFK, customers can connect to cities throughout the U.S.
Commenting on the new service Nicolas Ferri of Delta said, “We’re seeing strong demand for our flights between Ireland and the U.S. as customers reconnect with family and friends and also rediscover the charm and famous landmarks in both nations.”
