@_ArjanMeijer Our next-gen turboprop design continues to develop. As well as being faster, with lower op costs, and with more personal space than others on the market, the rear mounted engines reduce cabin noise for a jet like experience. #Embraer #ESG #FlightPlan.

@ByERussell Avianca has unveiled 23 new routes, many of which aim to solidify its dominant position in Colombia and Central America, as well as compete with rapidly growing budget carriers.

@ByERussell Azul sees Lilium electric aircraft flying within large metroplexes in Brazil — like suburb-to-suburb, or downtown-to-beach — says Shah.  For example, replacing trips up to 100km that take 2+ hours with traffic to drive but are short flights.

@ByERussell “The simplest referendum I can give you is what we did in May, we went and doubled down for 13 more,” said @AlaskaAir’s Nat Pieper on the 737 Max. Airlines have ordered 524 Maxes to date in 2021 following the jet’s uneventful return since December.

@ByERussell “We haven’t given up on it. We’re still looking at it,” says Azul CEO Rodgerson when asked about proposed LATAM Airlines Brazil acquisition. He argues that a combo would “benefit of all of [LATAM’s] stakeholders and creditors”.
