Emerald Airlines Launch Website

Ireland’s newest airline, Emerald Airlines has launched its website While the airline is the preferred bidder for the new Aer Lingus Regional franchise contract due to start in January 2023, the airline is trying to bring its start-up plans forward following the demise of Stobart Air last month. The airline is hoping to start operations later this year and they will operate a fleet of ATR-72 aircraft. The airline has yet to receive an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from the IAA. Visitors to the website can browse based on their own interests, learn about Emerald Airlines’ services, keep up to date with the latest company news and updates, and search for vacant positions.

Commenting on the website launch, CEO of Emerald Airlines, Conor McCarthy says, “After months in the works, we are delighted to officially share the finished product with all of you. Our main goal in launching this website is to provide all of our stakeholders; future clients, staff, and the general public with an intuitive and clean user-friendly experience that clearly states who we are, what we stand for, and what we can achieve for our clients and partners. We hope our stakeholders and other visitors to the site will love it as much as we do, and we welcome any feedback you may have on how we can further improve.”

Emerald Airlines has also announced a partnership with Danish software firm, PDC A/S, which has been selected as the airlines’ flight operations management software provider. Emerald will work with the full PDC AirlineSuite including FlightTime, FlightOps and FlightCrew modules in order to provide an integrated software solution for Schedules Planning, Operations Control and Crew Management.
