Expansion at STS

Shannon Technical Services (STS) has announced it will expand its business by creating an additional 80 jobs and opening a Dublin office. STS currently employs 40 people at its Shannon office, with an additional twenty due to join the company this year with up to forty joining the company next year and the additional staff bringing the numbers up to 120 in 2023. 57 of the new jobs will be supported by Enterprise Ireland. The company’s services include management of aircraft transitions, redeliveries, CAMO, engine management, and materials and logistics management for global aircraft lessors and airlines. STS was founded in February 2019 by experienced and trusted aviation professionals. The team have been leading and managing all of the areas we provide for an average of 25 to 30 years per person. The company’s head office is located in the Shannon Free Zone close to Shannon Airport.

Commenting on the expansion, the founder and CEO of Shannon Technical Services Ben Whelan said, “As we begin to recover from these turbulent times for society and in particular for the aviation sector, we feel privileged to be expanding and providing attractive job opportunities in Shannon and at a new office that we will be opening in Dublin. The aviation industry has demonstrated resilience many times in the past and I’m confident that it will, once again, bounce back.”
