@ByERussell What stands out from JetBlue’s release on its new transatlantic service is not its new economy class meal service but the fact that the A321LRs will only seat 138 passengers. That’s less than a transatlantic 757.

@dominicgates EASA has followed the FAA in today certifying the 737 MAX 8200, the high density version Boeing designed for Ryanair. Due to the COVID surge in Europe, Ryanair’s March traffic is down 91% YoY, so it has no pressing need the planes. But when it can take them, Boeing can deliver.

@gary_kelly 50 years ago today, Southwest acquired its first Boeing aircraft, the 737-200. It’s only fitting, then, that today we share the exciting news of our new order with Boeing for 100 737 MAX 7s, solidifying our commitment to the 737 MAX fleet.

@HardeepSPuri In the post COVID19 reality, flying has emerged as a preferred mode of transport for many. My flight to Gorakhpur this morning was full.  With new routes being announced regularly & with help from fliers in maintaining health precautions, our numbers will continue to grow.

@HardeepSPuri 2,83,401 passengers on 2336 domestic flights on 27 March 2021. Our domestic civil aviation operations continue to hold steady with all COVID19 precautions in place. I have no doubt that with cooperation from our fliers we will be able to touch the Pre-COVID numbers.
