New Aer Lingus A330 takes to the Air

The next Airbus A330-301 due for delivery to Aer Lingus has been photographed undergoing test flights at Toulouse. F-WWCN which will become EI-GCF (c/n 1817) was pictured doing touch and go’s ahead of its final painting and delivery to the airline. Aer Lingus currently have a fleet of 52 aircraft (excluding EI-GCF) which is made up of 34 x A320’s, 3 x A321’s, 11 x A330’s and 4 x B757’s. The four Boeing 757’s are leased from ASL Airlines. The addition of EI-GCF will leave the airline with a 12 strong A330 fleet made up of four -200’s and eight -300’s. A delivery date for the new aircraft has not been announced.
