SMBC Aviation Capital has announced the Sale and Leaseback of five Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with Arajet, scheduled to deliver in 2026 and 2027. This pivotal milestone underscores the commitment to supporting Arajet’s growth and expansion plans while reinforcing our position as a leading player in the global aviation leasing market.
Arajet is based at Santa Domingo in the Dominican Republic and currently operates a fleet of ten Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to 24 destinations across the America’s, from Toronto in the North to Buenos Aires in the south. The airline was founded in 2021 and commenced operations in September 2022
