HSE Air Ambulance Adopts New Colours

The two EC135 helicopters which operate for the HSE and National Ambulance Service from Rathcool, County Cork have a new colour scheme matching the lemon and green of their road ambulances. The main machine 9H-SEC was repainted in late 2023 and the backup 9H-SEB has now followed suit.

9H-SEC, top,  is the EC135 T3 version whereas the backup aircraft is the earlier T2 model. It is most easily distinguished by the additional fin below the tail rotor and the endplates on each side of the horizontal stabiliser.
