An Taoiseach, Mr Micheál Martin T.D., has officially opened the new Arrivals Hall at Kerry Airport. The state-of-the-art facility first welcomed passengers into the Kingdom in March 2025 and includes enhanced Immigration and Customs areas, larger Baggage Belt, improved bathroom amenities and a modernised public foyer.
It was part of a major multi-million-euro redevelopment at Kerry Airport, which also included an extended and improved Departures Area, which opened to passengers before the end of July.
This extension offers increased seating capacity, a new smoking area, an additional Boarding Gate, upgraded toilet facilities, a Quiet Space and expanded catering facilities – all part of the continued commitment to improving the Kerry Airport passenger experience. Work on the two-phase project, costing €5 million, commenced in September 2024 and was completed on schedule in July 2025.
