The IAA has published details of a Temporary Restricted Area (TRA) for the Electric Picnic Festival that will take place in Stradbally, Co. Laois from Wednesday August 27th to Tuesday September 2nd, 2025. The details are as follows:
| Lateral limits: | Circle radius of 2.0 NM centred on 53º 00’ 33” N, 007º 09’ 58” W |
| Vertical limits: | SFC to 2000FT AMSL. |
| Duration: | The period of the restriction shall be from 0500hrs UTC on Wednesday August 27th to 0800hrs UTC on Tuesday September 2nd, 2025. |
The purpose of the TRA, within which flight restrictions may apply, is to ensure the safety of aircraft operating into and out of the Electric Picnic Music Festival, Stradbally, Co. Laois and of other aircraft operating in the vicinity of the TRA in the period cited.
The airspace contained within the TRA is classified as ICAO Class G. The TRA is located within the Shannon Flight Information Region (FIR). There is no dedicated communications service within the TRA. For flights operating to and from the TRA, Air Traffic Services for the FIR are as published in the IAIP.
