Eirtech Aviation Services has announced the expansion of its Production Organisation Approval (POA) workshop in Shannon, County Clare. This development marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its global customer base. Since 2012, Eirtech has held EASA Part 21G Production Organisation Approval, authorising the company to manufacture and supply aircraft parts, components, and products in accordance with approved design data. The approval also permits the issuance of EASA Form 1 release certificates, ensuring compliance and quality assurance for all manufactured items.
Eirtech Aviation Services operates as a sister company to International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) under the IAC Group. As the global leader in aircraft painting, interiors, and graphics along with engineering and technical services, the IAC group provides critical services to key players in the aviation ecosystem. IAC’s painting and coatings capabilities combined with Eirtech Aviation Services engineering and technical services offerings create a “one-stop shop” provider of critical aviation services from aircraft purchase to owner transitions and end of life.
Commenting, the President of Eirtech Aviation Services, Michael Sattler said, “We tripled our production floorspace, made significant investments into new tooling and hired additional highly qualified personnel to further enhance Eirtech Aviation Service’s capabilities and responsiveness, reinforcing its position as a trusted global aviation partner.
