AFTA Welcome New Cadet Class from Air Astana

Atlantic Flight Training Academy based in Cork is celebrating the arrival of its latest class of Air Astana cadets. Their partnership with Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s national airline, began in 2012 and continues to soar to new heights each year. With a diverse fleet, including Boeing 767s and Airbus A321LRs, Air Astana connects the world across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Air Astana now operates a fleet of all Irish-registered aircraft through the partnership of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan with the IAA. The Air Astana cadets will complete all of their initial flight training at AFTA including ATPL theoretical knowledge training. The cadets will then return to Air Astana following their training to complete type rating training with the airline.
