Pegasus Start New Dublin Route

There was Turkish delight at Dublin Airport on Wednesday following the launch of Pegasus Airlines’ new direct flight to Ankara Esenboga International Airport. The new service will operate three times per week, departing from Ankara at 09.50 with a 12.40 arrival into Dublin. The return flight departs Dublin at 13.25 and arrives back in Ankara at 19.55. The service will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flights will operate on new-generation fuel-efficient Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Today’s launch at Dublin Airport was attended by the Ambassador of Turkey, Mehmet Hakan Olcay and the Pegasus Airlines team. 

Commenting before the inaugural flight, the Managing Director of Dublin Airport, Gary McLean said, “We’re delighted to welcome Pegasus Airlines to Dublin Airport and this is an exciting new addition to the schedule at Dublin Airport that is sure to prove very popular with passengers.” 

Also commenting on the route launch, Pegasus Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Onur Dedeköylü said: “Our new Ankara-Dublin route not only adds a new destination to our growing European network but also links the capitals of Türkiye and Ireland, enhancing tourism and business ties between our nations.”
