Capt. Paddy & Lucky, Ireland’s beloved aviator teddy bears recently completed a meticulously planned journey spanning multiple continents. The culmination of this endeavour was the capture of iconic Sydney landmarks – the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. A big thank you to Robbie Doyle for assisting with this incredible achievement and to sponsors ASL Airlines.
Travelling aboard Qantas Airways’ Airbus A380 fleet (registrations VH-OQI, VH-OQB, VH-OQI, and VH-OQJ), they flew from London to Singapore, then to Sydney, and back. Sophie Shardlow, Ashlee Price, and the Qantas team ensured their comfort and safety throughout.
During the winter months Capt. Paddy & Lucky also had a trip to Miami, Florida, USA and took time out to visit Brooklands Aviation Museum, UK. The duo are heading to Chicago next week and will be arriving in one of the most random and remote places in the USA. From 1st April Capt. Paddy & Lucky will have an extended stay in Ireland attending many of the Fly-Ins, Air Displays and Ireland’s top attractions. If you see them please do say hello and have a picture with Ireland’s intrepid aviation teddy bears.
In the spirit of giving back, Capt. Paddy & Lucky urge their supporters to visit their dedicated website, www.aviationireland.ie, where donations can be made to LauraLynn Ireland’s Children Hospice or Dogs Trust Ireland, two noble causes close to their hearts.
On behalf of the Aviation Ireland Challenge Team comprising Jason, Brendan, and Andy, heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Irish Aviation community for their unwavering support.
