New Routes Announced for Belfast International
Belfast International Airport has welcomed the announcement of two further new routes by easyJet and Jet2.com. EasyJet will launch service to their newly announced base in Southampton from the 29th of October 2023 and will operate three times a week. Jet2.com will launch a new weekly service to Madeira from the 4th of November 2024.
Commenting on the announcements, Belfast International Airport Managing Director, Graham Keddie said, “Southampton is a pivotal addition to the overall easyJet network from Belfast International Airport. The inclusion of this route further enhances our GB network coverage bringing the total number of UK destinations served to 16 on high frequency services. The introduction by Jet2.com of a new winter route to Madeira is also to be welcomed. The addition of these new routes further increases the number of direct destinations available from Belfast International Airport underlining our commitment to provide a greater destination choice to the local market. Both easyJet and Jet2.com are key strategic partners at Belfast International Airport and we look forward to working closely with them in the future to further develop their presence here.”
