@AHoensbroech Welcome to our newest bird, the 27th #Boeing 737 MAX8 in the  @westjet group, growing the share of super efficient #aircraft in our #fleet. Many more to come as our orderbook is being delivered, the largest of any airline in Canada.

@FlightGlobal UK competition watchdog ‘to consider’ revised Korean Air-Asiana merger plan.

@LuxuryTravelled easyJet full year results coming in slightly better than expected at a £178m loss = highlighting strong summer.  Note emphasis on ancillaries up 59% and easyJet holidays £38m contribution and targeting 30% growth.

@nialldowney Interesting read. Perhaps a national strategy on learning to manage inevitable error would be productive? In aviation, we expect error and have a strategy to deal with it. Big events (eg AF447) are shared widely with rapid learning.

@WandrMe As someone with family in a market oft served by the RJs, this is seen as both good and bad. They enjoy the larger planes, but very much dislike the extra time spent in ATL waiting for the connection thanks to fewer frequencies.
