Ryanair Announce New Dublin to Cluj Route
Ryanair has announced a new route to Cluj as part of its expanded winter schedule, following Blue Air’s recent suspension of this route. The new route will start with a twice-weekly service from 1st November. Ryanair has also their passenger numbers for September where the airline carried 15.9 million passengers, a 49% increase on the 10.6 million carried in September 2021. The load factor in September 2022 was 94% on the 88,850 flights operated by the airline. Ryanair has now carried 153 million in the past twelve months.
Commenting on the new route, Ryanair’s Jason McGuinness said, “Ryanair is further building on our already extensive Dublin Winter22 schedule with the addition of our new Dublin to Cluj route, operating twice weekly from 1st November – just in time for those travelling home to Cluj to spend Christmas with friends and family but whose travel plans have been disrupted by Blue Air’s recent suspension of this route. To celebrate, we are launching a seat sale for travel until the end of January 2023, which must be booked by midnight, Thursday 6th October.”
