@DjsAviation Crowdfunding: Offers opportunity for local community to buy in. Crowd-funding can allow those to share the success of Northern Pacific. Emphasis was made continuously on the community and being Alaska’s airline. It can be done with as little as $100, but risks are still involved.
@DjsAviation Northern Pacific WILL need a partner for their operations to Asian destinations following the Russian airspace closure and ETOPS difficulties. However, for domestic operations, they’ll be able to utilise their own Boeing 757s. They are currently shooting for 4x Boeing 757s.
@DjsAviation Rob is in constant discussions with Boeing and Airbus for aircraft. They’re in the process of doing the numbers. The 737 MAX 7 has been discussed frequently, not the MAX 8, 9 and 10. The A321LR could do the mission. The A321XLR can do it, but it is a way down the road.
@ethanklapper ALPA comes out against the Republic LIFT 750 hour exemption bid — which we knew — and SkyWest Charter (the 30 seat CRJs), which is newly stated opposition.
