New Aer Lingus Regional Service Between Dublin-Jersey Takes Off
Emerald Airlines, operating for Aer Lingus Regional has started a new summer season weekly flight between Dublin and Jersey. The service is operated by their fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft of which they now have ten in the fleet. The 70-minute flight is scheduled to depart Dublin at 14.20 on Saturday afternoons. The return flight will depart Jersey at 16.55.
Commenting as the new route commenced, the Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines, Ciarán Smith said: “We are delighted to be operating this service between Dublin and Jersey, just in time for summer. Passengers from across Ireland will now have a direct link to Jersey throughout the summer months, making visiting family and friends a whole lot easier. We expect this route to prove popular with those travelling for leisure purposes to the island of Jersey, giving passengers the opportunity to experience Jersey’s renowned beaches and cliffside walking trails – all just a stone’s throw away from Dublin. We look forward to working with both the team at Jersey Airport and our partners in Aer Lingus to ensure the success of this route.”
Also commenting was Paul Holley, Route Development Team at Jersey Airport said: “We are delighted to welcome Emerald Airlines, the exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional to Jersey this summer. The Dublin route has always been a firm favourite and we look forward to working alongside Emerald Airlines as the route gets underway.”
