@Airbus Airbus delivered 48 commercial aircraft in April 2022. Order-wise, 98 jets were added to our books – including four #A350F for @AirFranceKLM , making it the fourth firm customer for the A350 Freighter.

@AvWeekScho Air India names SIA veteran Campbell Wilson as its next CEO. Wilson is currently CEO of SIA’s LCC subsidiary Scoot, and he will be succeeded at Scoot by Leslie Thng  (another SIA veteran).

@BoeingAirplanes Thank you, @EVAAirUS, for adding another 777 Freighter to your world-class, all-Boeing freighter fleet!. The versatility and market-leading capabilities of the 777 family will continue to position your airline for long-term success.

@ByERussell Allegiant Air has a great chart showing how early pilot retirements during the pandemic rippled down thru the industry, and are causing the current shortage. “There are insufficient new pilots waiting in the wings to satisfy the regional airlines’ needs.”

@ByERussell Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron won’t comment on what they will or won’t do following Avianca and Gol’s consolidation announcement. “If we choose to focus on our business model, I think we will be very successful doing it that way.”
