New Ryanair Service from Shannon
Ryanair has announced a new service linking Shannon with the southern French city of Marseille. The new route will operate twice weekly, each Wednesday and Saturday, starting on Wednesday 4th May. It will depart from Marseille at 14.10, arrive in Shannon at 15.35 and depart from Shannon at 16:00 on Wednesdays arriving in Marseille at 19:25. The Saturday service will depart from Marseille at 06.55 and arrive in Shannon at 08.20 and will depart again for Marseille at 08.45 arriving in Marseille at 12:10. These flights will be operated by Malta Air.
This positive news is the second new route announcement for the airport in under three weeks. It follows the airport’s recent announcement of Barcelona Girona with Ryanair, which is due to start later this month. Ryanair’s summer schedule at Shannon will see 67 weekly flights to 22 destinations in 2022. In recently released figures, Ryanair carried 8.7 million passengers during February. The airline operated 53,660 flights during the month with a 78% load factor.
