@ethanklapper As @hharteveldt says, airlines must now compete with other airlines not just for passengers, but also for pilots. “What makes a good pilot is her or his flying skills. Not their knowledge of Socrates or creative writing.”

@followdpts Aero UK is launching three weekly Farnborough-Geneva flights on January 21st. Schedules in Geneva are 1130-1740 every Monday, Friday and Sunday. Flights are operated with Embraer 135 in full First class configuration. Passengers in Geneva will be taken care of at the VIP terminal.

@IATA It is likely that both international & domestic air travel continued to improve in December 2021, despite the spread of #omicron and the related cancellations.

@JM_Scindia An air bubble was proposed to the Government of South Korea in July 2021. The response is still awaited. The GOI is actively watching, engaging with countries & calibrating its approach in accordance with the global COVID-19 situation. Needless to say, safety is our top priority.

@jlo_said The Outbound travel sector is of critical importance to the UK delivering both social and economic benefits as well as over 1m jobs across UK. A business sector in its own right with tour ops, travel agents etc – feeding into wider eco-system which underpins many UK businesses.
