NAC Delivers 10 E-190s to Breeze
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has announced the completion of a 10-aircraft transaction with Breeze Airways. From the delivery of the first Embraer EMB-190 in February 2021 through to the 10th, both the NAC and Breeze teams have successfully delivered each aircraft despite the significant restrictions caused by Covid 19. Breeze only started flight operations in May 2021 and have built a route network to 16 destinations across the Central and Eastern United States.
Commenting on the deal, Chief Commercial Officer at Nordic, Jim Murphy said, “NAC is proud of its partnership with Breeze Airways and to continue its relationship with aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman. Despite an extremely difficult environment, the smooth placement of 10 aircraft with Breeze Airways is really remarkable. Delivering aircraft can be difficult at the best of times; however, for such a large project to run so smoothly is a testament to the expertise and resilience of both teams.”
Also commenting was David Neeleman, Founder and CEO of Breeze Airways who added, “We are grateful for our partnership with Nordic Aviation Capital and the introduction of the E190 to our fast-growing fleet. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship together”.
In recent weeks NAC has also delivered ATR aircraft to Windrose Aviation in Ukraine and Danish Air Transport. Each airline took an ATR 72-600 on lease. Both aircraft have been in operation since 2014.
