Emirates Increase Dubai – Dublin to Daily

Emirates has announced that it will increase its Dubai – Dublin service to a daily flight for the first time since March 2020 when the pandemic put a halt to the flights. The daily service will be restored from 5th October. The Dublin route had been a strong performer in the Emirates schedule with two daily services operating for the past couple of years. Emirates initially started the Dublin route in 2013 with an Airbus A330 but quickly increased to the Boeing 777-300ER due to excellent passenger numbers.

Commenting on the increased service from Emirates, Enda Corneille said, “We are seeing significant growth in demand both into and out of Dublin since the lifting of travel restrictions in Ireland in July. During the early days of the pandemic, we were operating just two flights a week from Dublin, growing to four on the back of demand for our cargo business. So today’s news is a fantastic boost in confidence for international travel; it’s a welcome boost for the travel industry and for our customers.  We are hopeful that the coming months will see the resumption of our double daily service from Dublin, which, for us, will be a return to normal.”
