March Taskings for the ICRR

The month of March continued to be a busy month for the Irish Community Rapid Response (ICRR) Air Ambulance helicopter with 49 missions for the Co. Cork based operation. Trauma and Cardiac Arrest was the most common tasking with both required on eight missions as the helicopter flew over 32 hours on callouts during the month. Cork University Hospital received the most patients from helicopter transfers with 13 transfers. Four patients were brought to Limerick University Hospital. 24 of the incidents in March were from Co. Cork with other incident callouts from across Munster as well as one each in Wexford, Kilkenny and Mayo.
