BobbyB Elegant Creations is a small artisan producer of craft and fabric products based in Trim, Co. Meath run by Balloon Pilot Pauline Baker. Whilst her balloon flights are grounded she has designed these aviator face masks that are available to buy on her website at www.bobbyb.ie . During the COVID-19 pandemic, attention has been focused on the manufacture of high-quality 3-ply 100% cotton face coverings with a variety of exciting frontal designs, including pilot rank markings. In addition to the face coverings that are available on the website, over 50% of the manufacturing effort has involved the donation of face coverings to front-line healthcare workers in conjunction with the Masks 4 All Meath and Boyne Valley Masks charity initiative.
Flying In Ireland was launched in 2002 as a resource for Irish pilots and aviation enthusiasts to keep up to date with the latest in Irish related aviation news. Published as a hard copy magazine from February 2005 until January 2015, Flying In Ireland is now a free online resource.
