ASG Launch Private Pilot Licence (PPL) Theory Course

Dublin based ASG have received IAA approval to offer PPL theory courses. Their first classes will take place over four days of the first two weekends (2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th) in July just prior to the IAA examination sittings which take place on 26th – 28th July 2021.

Speaking about the new course, ASG MD, Diarmuid O’Riordan, commented that: “We’re delighted to be adding to the number of courses that we can offer student Pilots. After a number of years of delivering high quality Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) theory, the ASG brand has become synonymous with providing a premium quality theoretical training product to our customers. We decided that it was time that we applied this same approach and training philosophy to students undergoing Private Pilot training.

Uniquely, with our hybrid classroom, we will be able to deliver this high quality EASA certified training to PPL students anywhere in the world. This innovative concept provides our customers with the ultimate flexibility when choosing how they would like to attend their PPL revision classes with us. The concept is simple: our “live” PPL revision classes are conducted on location in Dublin, Ireland. Some students may be “in-class” and others will be attending by logging in. In order to ensure a fantastic classroom experience for those who choose to attend remotely, we have invested in 4K webcams, a dedicated instructor login station, and a classroom facing flat-screen display where the faces of those attending remotely will even be displayed to the students who are attending physically – so everyone will feel part of our “hybrid” classroom environment!”

In order to launch this new course, we are offering the first eight students who enroll in our PPL theory course a 25% discount on the course price of €900 (just €675).

ASG limits class sizes to ensure the optimum learning environment, supports students throughout their PPL training journey, and deliver the highest standard of theoretical knowledge instruction. Through our high quality instruction, aside from being more likely to excel at your exams, you are likely to retain this important information as a Private Pilot.

Our facilities are a unique aviation training environment ideal for an aspiring aviation student. With over 20,000 square feet available located next to Dublin Airport, the entire building has been designed from the ground up to provide a bespoke, convenient and a best-in-class learning environment for aviation professionals.
