@Airbus Airbus Corporate Jets #ACJ is proud to have @LHTechnik as the launch customer for the multi-role version of the #A321LR to be operated by the German Air Force (Luftwaffe), opening a new chapter in our long and trusted relationship!.

@AvWeekScho Cathay’s Greg Hughes says the airline is not canceling any of its 21 777-9 orders, although they are being deferred. Also confirms two A350-1000 orders being switched to -900s.

@AvWeekScho Virgin Australia confirms it is ditching its 777s and A330s, but still intends to return to long-haul in the future. Presumably leaves the door open for previously discussed plans to order widebodies. So no U.S. flights for a while, but short-haul intl will still happen with 737s

@BoeingAirplanes @airvistara  added a second Boeing 787-9 #Dreamliner to its fleet, the only widebody plane type the airline flies. This jet allows for new route opportunities and passengers of India’s only five-star airline to travel in both comfort and style.

@byerussell “I think [flying] is a lot safer than a lot of restaurants and shops that you go into today just because of the enhanced cleaning we do,” Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly tells the @TexasTribune.
