Emerald Airlines, operator of the Aer Lingus Regional network and the largest airline operating from Belfast City Airport, has been revealed as the UK’s most punctual airline in data released by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The announcement comes as Belfast City Airport retains its position as the UK’s most punctual airport for the second year in a row, topping the table out of out of the 25 major airports surveyed. Together, both the airport and airline have demonstrated a shared commitment to operational efficiency and reliability, offering passengers a consistently smooth and easy travel experience. The airline’s performance places it at the forefront of punctuality among UK carriers in 2024, exceeding 80% in all quarters of the previous calendar year. With ten routes across the UK from Belfast City Airport, this achievement highlights Aer Lingus Regional’s focus on delivering a seamless and dependable travel experience, positioning it as a leader in the industry for 2024.
