National Flight Centre Pilot Academy has announced it has been approved by the IAA for the provision of Helicopter Pilot training. The training will take place at NFC’s Academy based at Weston Airport in their Robinson R44 type helicopters.
NFC’s Chief Flight Instructor (H), Donal Loughnane, said “we are seeing an increasing number of students wishing to pursue helicopter Pilot training. We have purpose built classrooms for lectures and pre and post flight briefing rooms and we provide the student with qualified instructors for the ground school subjects. As our facilities are approved by the IAA, students can undergo the EASA examinations conveniently in-house at the NFC training centre. NFC have been providing helicopter charter services for a number of years and is a licensed AOC operator, approved and registered by the IAA. Helicopter Pilot training is a natural extension to our existing helicopter activities”.
