On 12th April 1928, aviation history was made. Last Monday, marked the 93rd Anniversary of the Bremen flight from Baldonnel to Greenly Island, Canada. The first successful East-West crossing of the Atlantic Ocean by air. The three crew included Major James Fitzmaurice of the Irish Air Corps.
