Birr Fly-In 2025

Despite the inclement weather forecast, the weather in Birr was warm and sunny up to 13:00. The event saw aviation enthusiasts, supporters, and families from across Ireland descend on Birr. The fantastic team of SVP Volunteers and friends served up a delicious traditional Irish Breakfast.

Spectators were rewarded with flypasts from visiting aircraft, including the Irish Coast Guard Beechcraft King Air 200. The Irish Air Corps AW139 distinctive helicopter landed with its usual flair and there was also a range of light aircraft from across the country, much to the delight of the fantastic crowd attending.

The organisers of the event said: “On behalf of Saint Vincent De Paul in Birr we can confirm that €15,000 was raised at our Annual Breakfast Fly-in on Saturday 14th June at Birr Airfield. This brings the staggering amount raised to date for SVP Birr to €519,000”
