Stellaer 212 Awarded Irish AOC

Stellaer 212, a PC-12 operator based at Weston Airport, has announced it has been awarded an Irish Air Operator Certificate (AOC), CAMO approval and an Air Carrier Operating Licence (ACOL) by the Irish Aviation Authority. Securing the AOC involved demonstrating that their Pilatus PC-12 NGX aircraft (EJ-VAIS) meets the strict safety and operational standards required by EASA. This process included submitting detailed documentation on continued airworthiness, ensuring that all operational criteria were met, and completing a successful proving flight in Ireland with the aircraft.

The company says that in Q1 2025 they will add an additional Pilatus PC-12 NGX to their fleet. Later, in Summer 2025, they’ll introduce the Pilatus PC-24, a twin-engine jet that combines the benefits of a turboprop with the performance of a light jet. Known as the “Super Versatile Jet,” the PC-24 offers the largest cabin in its class and can land on short or even unprepared runways, offering clients and operators access to more destinations than ever before.

David Mahon, CEO and Co-founder, said: “Achieving the first SET-IMC AOC in Ireland and expanding our fleet are important steps toward fulfilling our vision for business aviation in the country. Our goal is to develop a robust and sustainable business aviation market in Ireland that supports economic growth, enhances connectivity, and strengthens Ireland’s position as a key hub for global business aviation. By increasing access to efficient and reliable business aviation services, we are helping businesses operate more effectively and ensuring that Ireland is well-connected to international markets. As we grow, we’re focused on making business aviation more accessible, versatile, and integral to Ireland’s economic future.”

David Hickey, COO and Co-founder, added: “With regulatory approvals in place, ongoing fleet expansion, and the development of Dublin Weston Airport, we are playing a key role in advancing the business aviation market in Ireland. The addition of another Pilatus PC-12-NGX, and Pilatus PC-24 strengthens our ability to provide flexible, reliable, and efficient aviation services, supporting the growth of Irish businesses and enhancing connectivity to global markets.”
