This week the entrance road and terminals one and two at Dublin Airport are being lit up in pink and blue every evening to mark Pregnancy and Baby Loss Awareness Week which runs from October 9th until 15th. This initiative aims to raise awareness and provide support for families affected by pregnancy and baby loss.
The gesture is also in support of the work of A Little Lifetime Foundation, which is one of daa’s chosen charity of the year partners for 2024. The charity was founded in 1983 by a group of bereaved parents whos mission is “to empower families to navigate the grieving process with dignity and resilience.” The foundation create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can find solace and connection through their programs, support groups, and online resources.

Every year Pregnancy and Baby Loss Awareness Week ends with the Wave of Light on the evening of October 15th. As part of the wave of light over 120 buildings around Ireland will be joining Dublin Airport in lighting up in pink and blue one of which is the control tower at Dublin Airport operated by AirNav Ireland.
