@ByERussell “As we look into the 2030s, the A350 is an aircraft we are looking at. We don’t have any new news to share with you today,” CFO Leskinen when asked whether Boeing’s difficulties would change United’s view of its long-deferred A350 order. $UAL.

@ByERussell United has 107 aircraft deliveries scheduled in 2024 but, given the 737 Max 9 grounding and other delays, it is “unrealistic” to expect all of those planes to arrive, says CFO Michael Leskinen. $UAL.

@ByERussell United has firm orders for 277 Boeing 737 Max 10s with deliveries from 2025, per Raymond James. All of those planes — key to United’s plans to increase average gauge 30% by 2026 — are now out of the fleet plan pending certification of the aircraft.

@ByERussell “We have confidence that Boeing will get all this figured out with the FAA will come out a better company,” @SouthwestAir CEO Bob Jordan said Thursday. However, the airline has removed the Max 7 from its 2024 capacity plan due to the continued certification uncertainty. $LUV
