A Navigation Warning has been issued by the IAA for Sunday 9th July over Cork City. The warning is connected to The National Day of Commemoration, for all those Irishmen and Irishwomen who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations. An event will be held at Collins Barracks, Old Youghal Road, Montenotte, Cork.
Pilots are asked to avoid overflying Collins Barracks between 1300z and 1415z (1400 – 1515 local). The warning is centred on the Barracks and stretches for a 1NM radius up to 1700ft AMSL. The area in question is within the Cork CTR and is unlikely to affect traffic too much. A NOTAM with further details will be issued closer to the time.
