Acumen Announces Bermudan CAMO Approval

Dublin based Acumen Aviation, an Aircraft Asset Management Services Company has announced a further expansion of its CAMO approval with the addition of VP– Registration CAMO approval from the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA). This latest addition is as a direct response to customer requirements and further bolsters Acumen’s comprehensive CAMO suite . Acumen also currently holds approvals for Bombardier Dash 8 / Q400 series; ATR 42/72 Series; Airbus 320 Family, Airbus A330 Family; Boeing 737 Classic and NG Series.

The Continuing Airworthiness Manager, Mr. John Straiton said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Acumen to extend the CAMO services we offer our customers. I would like to thank Chris Lennon, David Lelliott and his team at the BCAA for their assistance and for working with Acumen to successfully complete this approval during these challenging times for the aviation industry.”

Last month, the company announced that Mr Yibang Wang has successfully obtained “Accredited Member” status from American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Mr Wang is based out of Acumen’s Beijing office. Mr. Wang’s ASA accreditation will further increase Acumen’s dedicated team of appraisers and will strengthen Acumen’s current valuation capabilities, to meet growing client demand. Acumen now has a total of five certified appraisers; two ASA certified, one accredited member and one senior appraiser, together with three ISTAT certified appraisers.

Acumen appraisal services have been increasing in leaps and bounds, and Acumen not only have worked on several ABS portfolio valuations but continues to support its client through its Certified appraiser base which have diversified knowledge. Acumen has provided appraisal services for more than 1400 Assets, out of which more than 650 asset were appraised in 2019.
