Cabin Crew Survey on Unruly Passenger Behaviour
The latest statistics suggest that every 3 hours, the safety of a flight within the EU is threatened by passengers behaving in an unruly or disruptive manner. The number of reported incidents in 2018 have increased by 34% compared to 2017 and one emergency landing per month is attributed to unruly passenger behaviour.
Tricia Madden from Dublin City University is a graduate student studying an MSc in Management (Aviation Leadership) and needs your help with a short cabin crew survey on disruptive passenger behaviour. Through your participation the findings of this study will have the potential to make a contribution to further understanding the impact of unruly passenger behaviour on cabin crew, and to establish if further measures or procedures could be introduced to reduce the number of unruly passenger instances onboard, and create a safer work environment for cabin crew.
