Aer Lingus Announce Fully Sponsored Pilot Training Programme
Starting in November 2019, this intensive pilot training programme combines classroom study with practical flight training. You will also receive regular mentoring, guidance and support from your Aer Lingus Liaison Pilot. Successful candidates will begin a very intensive training program lasting over 14 months in collaboration with FTE Jerez, Spain. Pilots will then return to Aer Lingus to commence a type rating course and begin a long career as a First Officer on the Airbus A320 and A321 LR NEO aircraft in 2021.
Competition is expected to be extremely high for a limited number of positions. Candidates are advised to apply early and prepare carefully. Once you qualify you will receive a Multi Pilot’s Commercial Licence and a position in the right hand seat of an Airbus Aircraft. When you return to Dublin you will be scheduled for the A320 Type Rating course lasting approximately 12 weeks.
