Joe McDermott has been appointed Irish Business Aviation Association (IrBAA) representative to the Council of European Business Aviation Associations which meets quarterly at the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) office in Brussels.
The EBAA is hosting AirOps Europe, a unique event offering the business aviation support community a powerful & cost-effective platform to network & market their services in Europe. Taking place 12-13 October in Cannes, France, this inaugural event will bring business aviation operators & the support community (FBOs, AOCs, charter brokers etc) in Europe together in one forum for priceless marketing opportunities & insights, as well as a unique chance to engage in an industry dialogue on such key issues as harmonised standardisation & enabling legislation.
The IrBAA have a stand at the event & would welcome contact from Irish companies attending.
Nearest airport to Cannes is Nice, which is served from Dublin by Aer Lingus & Ryanair with direct flights, currently with very reasonable fares. Cannes is approx 20 miles to the west & is connected by bus, taxi & train.
