Ryanair Carries Record 22.2 Million Passengers in July

Ryanair has reported its busiest month ever, carrying a record 22.2 million passengers during July 2026, a 7% increase on the 20.8 million passengers carried in July 2025. The airline released its latest traffic statistics on 5th August, showing continued strong demand across its European network during the peak summer travel season. Despite the increase in passenger numbers, Ryanair maintained a 96% load factor, matching the figure achieved in July last year and operated more than 120,800 flights during the month, highlighting the scale of its summer operations.

The airline’s longer-term growth trend also continued, with rolling 12‑month passenger numbers reaching 213.2 million, up 5% from 203.1 million in the previous 12‑month period. The rolling load factor remained steady at 94%. The record monthly total further strengthens Ryanair’s position as Europe’s largest airline by passenger numbers and reflects another strong summer season for the carrier.
